NLP Business: The Busy-ness Of NLP World

If you, like me, are the type of person who has used their NLP skills to be properly aligned with their core values then you’ll probably already know how easy it is to become busy being focused and just throw yourself into whatever project you’re turned on by at the time. And time flies by and, looking back, you realise how much has been accomplished!

For me, using NLP this month to become focused has meant that I’ve now become busy in the NLP business! I’m sure all of you are also busy looking at the responses I’ve had for the Newsletter submissions this month.

Firstly, let me apologise for my own lack of posts this month. Shifting to the cause side for a moment, I was waiting for something incredible to happen. And, as of yesterday, I can now tell you that something incredible has happend: NLP World (Brighton, UK) has updated their site!

I have recently been working with Terry Elston on updating the NLP World website. The changes that you see for the moment are more than just cosmetic. Something fundamental within the structure of the site has changed too. The new site is (and will become) the primary source for quality NLP information. A fountain of excellence from which each and every one of us will be able to sip at the information, as an when we need it.

Working with Terry, has been great over the last month. I’m sure he’d agree that we’ve both been on a fantastic journey creating this site. And the work isn’t over yet.

For the moment, you’ll see we now have the ability to add video to the pages! We’ve got an updated version of the video on hydrophobia clearing demo using Time Line Therapy™. I’m planning to have more of these on the site as time goes on. At the moment, most of these will be demonstrations of various NLP techniques that you should be familiar with - great for revision! “What’s the purpose of these videos?”. Primarily, these videos will help people who have previously never been exposed to NLP or Time Line Therapy™ to understand how powerful the techniques can be. For some people, it will be an opportunity to clear out their limiting beliefs or phobias. And for others, it will help them to take the steps that we are all familiar with from having done our respective trainings!

There’s also a new FAQ section to answer various question about the training or other aspects. If you would like to ask a question then please feel free. It will help us to test the system.

The NLP World shop has been updated. You can now get NLP MP3s from the NLP World shop now! We’ll be expanding the range soon too. So keep an eye out for this.

In terms of design, I will be working with Terry to help re-brand NLP World. If you think what you had before was good, just wait until you see what we’ll have in store for you in the future. NLP World’s going to get bigger. In future, I’m going to be looking at providing a proper NLP World forum - in the right context, so each “class” should have their own group to subscibe to and support each other as well as having a more open forum to discuss NLP issues.

As you may have realised, the vision for the site is powerful. What you may not have realised is that the “core” of the site is *really* powerful. The new site is now starting to be properly optimised for search engines. There’s also going to be a new marketing campaign as well as methods for promotion and establishing NLP World as a Center for Excellence. These will be the things that you won’t see but will get a sense of in the future.

I’ll be discussing benefits for ex-students with Terry soon, so if you have ideas about what you would like to see - then let me know! For those of you who were on my both my NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner training -  you’ll probably be aware that since October 2005 I’ve been considering setting up my own Centers Of Excellence. Can you see how this is starting to manifest itself now?

Oh… And this project will also mean money for me. Thanks to my training partner, Margaret Collins, for helping me clear out my limiting beliefs and away from motivations surrounding work and career on the NLP World Master Practitioner course!

So, as you can see the clearing out techniques have been effective and I’m now using my NLP skills in my business! My company provides internet services for training companies - but I’ve been so busy that I’ve not even had a chance to set up my own site yet!

I hope you all enjoy the new site. Please feel free to try it out, test it, tell your friends now and let us know of any issues you may have with the site.

There’s a lot more to come and this is just the first steps on the new journey to our ultimate NLP World!
